A bit disappointing

I was expecting more from this oxidative-method Palette wine, but it definitely is no Tondonia. The aromas, mostly secondary, including peaches and mushrooms are nice but a bit muted. On the palate, the entry is strong and the aftertaste long enough but, in the mid-palate, there is a sort of metallic-tasting shield that stands between the soft fruit and the attractive hazelnuts and salty flavours. Good but a bit frustrating.
