What does this wine taste like?
Viña Zorzal Garnacha displays a bright, medium-intensity ruby red colour in the glass. It delights us with the clear and concentrated aromas of wild fruit, spices and dust it obtains purely from the qualities the grapes and vineyard deliver as the wine is not fermented or aged in wood. Dry and fresh in the mouth, with smooth tannins and a medium body, it is a mineral wine with a lingering finish. It maintains the primary freshness and acidity of its grapes thanks to the use of whole bunches of grapes with their stems during the vinification, especially in dry years. Although it is the basic starter red wine in the winery's collection, its unquestionable quality offers an amazing value for money. A splendidly juicy wine packed with flavour which seems to get better and better with every vintage. Fortunately, about 137,000 bottles are made every year!

Delightful. Excellent value for money. I will buy this again
Excellent Great balance of fruit and alcohol with a touch of residual sweetness. Medium bodied. Drink on its own or with light meals
I will order another case, it has character.
From the first sniff I knew it was going to be a good wine, very nice length and a deep flavour more like an expensive, older version.
Viña Zorzal Garnacha 2019
A thoroughly enjoyable perfectly balanced wine at a great price. Wonderful with a meal, but all too easily enjoyed on its own!
My wife is a big fan of the Blanco version so I thought I would give this one a go......and its great....thoroughly recommend.
Every day winner
Amazing value every day drinker. Can't go wrong with this, fruity and approachable it's hard not to love and it is so cheap!!!

Within a very short time, Viña Zorzal has become an absolute benchmark among Navarra wines. The bird on its labels is a symbol which we unquestionably associate with excellent quality wines originating from the Navarra DO, and also from the Rioja DOQ, under the name of el El Inquilino.
