Bodegas Olarra

Bodegas Olarra forms part of the Grupo Bodegas Olarra, to which Bodegas Ondarre (D.O.Ca Rioja) and >Bodegas y Viñedos Casa del Valle (IGT Tierra de Castilla) also belong. Founded in 1973, Bodegas Olarra is located in Logroño, and distinguished by the beauty and complexity of its installations, known as the Rioja Cathedral, and remarkable for its Y-shape design and for having 111 hexagonal domes. The ageing hall houses 26,000 oak barrels.

They are committed to perfection in the care of their grapes, keeping a close watch on every detail: in the selection of the fruit, harvesting by parcels, looking after the vineyards... Throughout the whole year, a team of oenologists from the winery constantly monitors every wine grower, and closely observes how the vines are progressing. In the production of their wines, they only use fruit complying with a strict set of conditions: perfectly healthy, low yields, at an ideal state of maturity.

They currently have several brands on the market, each having its own identity: Summa Reserva Especial, Añares and Añares Verdejo, Cerro Añón (Gran Reserva, Reserva and Crianza), the Otoñal range, the Reciente range and the Cavas Añares.
