Details for San Lorenzo ...di Gino... 2019
Bottle size and vintage
... by Gino ... is a pleasantly mineral Verdicchio, characterized by great freshness and pleasant drinking. Pale in the glass, it is pale straw yellow with timid greenish reflections. The nose reveals good workmanship and great typicality, with hints of hawthorn, peach blossom, plum, apple, almond and, to close, light mineral and icing sugar references. In the mouth it transmits a great gustatory tension, a triumph of pleasantness and drinkability; vivid, sharp, with a good alcoholic sensation, it closes sapid-bitter and long persistence. A small great masterpiece for the daily table, very suitable in summer, ideal to accompany fish and shellfish dishes.
- Optimum serving temperature:Between 6ºC and 8ºC
Good pre food or with charcuterie easygoing summer white that is really good value for money. My girlfriend loves as her go to basic wine. Basic meant in a good wayby: Hillbilly (03/09/2018) - Vintage 2017
Lovely taste but a slightly pinkish hue!
A wonderful crisp verdicchio, clean and full of fruit. However the wine has a very slightly pink tinge to it which is a little off putting when you pour a glass, although it still tastes very pleasant.by: Rachel (20/08/2018) - Vintage 2017
This wine is an all time favourite. Extremely good value, don't think you will find a better wine for this priceby: Cliente Italvinus (02/06/2017) - Vintage 2016

Fattoria San Lorenzo
The running of the winery has been handed down from father to son for several generations. Gino, Natalino’s father, was a talented winemaker, who spent almost all his life in selecting old Verdicchio clones (in the old vineyards called "tree-lined"). His choice of bunc...
