Review

This award-winning blend of Friulano, Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon grapes should be considered one of the most prestigious Italian whites.

Intense straw yellow which is embellished with golden reflections. On the nose the bouquet of fruity, floral, mineral and spicy notes is really complex: exotic fruit, citrus, white peach, sweet almond, Mediterranean scrub, sage, elderflower, hawthorn, marjoram, vanilla. On the palate it is elegant, enveloping, juicy, full, warm, fresh, savory and mineral, full-bodied, in perfect balance. The aftertaste of candied citrus fruits, aromatic herbs and vanilla persists for a long time.

Accompanies fish soups, risotto with vegetables and white meat based dishes.

  • Optimum serving temperature:Between 6ºC and 8ºC

A well balanced wine

Very good wine consisting of three types of grapes: Friulano, Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon Blanc. Intense nose, beautiful color with gold reflections. Citrus fruits and minerals in taste. I recommend it for fish and seafood.

Livio Felluga's top wine

This is rich and complex with mineral, dried pears, melon and peaches with hints of spice. Wonderfully long fresh finish. Been drinking this since a restaurant in Cattolica recommended it back in the 90's.
