Wine critics reviewsReviews by Parker, Jancis Robinson, and Suckling

The nose of the 2018 G Godello is open, very expressive and quite aromatic, with varietal typicity, raw quince, grapefruit and a touch of bay leaf. It fermented with neutral yeasts and matured with the lees for five months before bottling. It's clean, focused and balanced, with a medium-bodied palate and integrated acidity. 40,000 bottles produced.

— Luis Gutiérrez (14/05/2020)Robert Parker Wine Advocate Vintage 2018 - 91 PARKER

Exuberant, fruity and clean but best for relatively early consumption. Big, bold and pure.

— Jancis Robinson (02/03/2022)JancisRobinson.com Vintage 2019 - 16 JANCIS ROBINSON

Pure and primary, full of nectarines, green apples and a limey note. This is crisp and energetic, yet elegant, with mineral tension chiseled into the mid-palate. Bright, high acidity. A pithy, well-made godello. Drink now.

Adega Ponte da Boga

Adega Ponte da Boga

Adega Ponte de Boga is situated in “Terra de Caldelas”, a region of outstanding wines made from ancient grape varieties that is blessed by the River Sil coursing through it and protected by the Gran Cañón, which has the effect of regulating temperatures there. This is also a land of terraces, worked in the age-old traditional way, positioned facing the sun, and producing low yields.
