A cune matata
We are already obsessed with the Cune crianza and didn't think that could be beat - but evidently we were wrong. The reserva is even better. Just that little bit smoother and oakier; worth the extra you pay. My fiancée and I taste-tested this wine against the Beronia reserva and both agreed this was the (close) winner!
An excellent value Rioja to drink now or keep.
Ruby red colour. Deep, rich, red fruit nose nose. More in the modern style without the heavy oak and vanilla flavours. Still relatively young, a robust food wine which improves in the glass.
Excellent service and delicious wine. One of the best red wines we have enjoyed in a long time. We will be buying a lot more soon. I highly recommend it
CUNE wines are always good.
This 2018 Reserva is no different: All good. Just as one would expect.

The Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España, CVNE —or 'Cune', as it's known locally in Haro— was founded in 1879 and was one of the first wineries in La Rioja to bottle wine.
