A 100% Tempranillo that emanates primarily from their own Rioja Alta vineyards located at Cenicero. This a clean-looking wine with a lovely shade of deep cherry and a garnet edge. The nose presents a wide variety of aromatic nuances, highlighting ripe fruit and fine cocoa. Well-structured on the palate, it immediately comes through as powerful and velvety-smooth, with ripe tannins and balanced acidity.
Aged for 17 months in 225-litre American oak barrels. Subsequent refinement in bottle for a further three and a half years before being released for sale.

Always a favourite which never fails to deliver. Well worth the money. A smooth oaky, silky wine which is a favourite.
