A smooth soft full bodied red with ooodles of flavour.
Tried this red at a tapas bar in Birmingham New Street station last November......instantly fell in love with it , so went straight online to find it, but we can only buy it direct from country of origin, not a problem really, just meant we had to wait for it to arrive. Vinissimus were superb in handling our order, even emailing back twice to confirm our address before dispatching our order. A very helpful and professional outfit. This is what “we” call a FAT red . The flavours fill your mouth and nose with warm rounded enveloping gorgeousness. There are no aftertastes from tannins which suits our palate, and this is a seriously delightful wine to drink by itself or to enjoy with a meal. Skip it and you’ll be missing out in a very big way. It’s worth the wait and the price . 10/10 ALL THE WAY.

A good value ....consistent quality Rioja Crianza from Bodegas Ramon Bilbao invoking memories of visiting that famous wine region ... Definitely on my repeat purchase list.
Great with red meat or cheese
A great wine to enjoy with red meat or strong cheese, would recommend making sure the temperature is right beforehand as this wine benefits a lot from the preparation.
should have been better
A heavy full bodied wine, very smooth. However it lacks any real character and is a bit bland. I usually drink a bottle of red wine in 2 goes, this one lasted for 3!
Ramón Bilbao Crianza 2016
Tried this wine after also having the Reserva 2015. Obviously not quite to the same standard, but a fantastic value wine for the price.
