Wine critics reviewsReviews by Parker
This red wine is typical Bierzo. Lightly sweet. Well structured for an inexpensive wine. Good structure and powerful aromas. Very good value for money.
Delicious and great value
This young red from the Bierzo is a big hitter in terms of RCP. Lashings of vibrant red fruit and no obtrusive oak. Just what you want from a Bierzo Mencía.
I have ordered this wine for couple of times now, and I will keep on ordering it in the future. It goes very well for social occasions, nice and easy!
A good smooth wine, good value for money
smooth pleasant wine with good level of dark fruit. Some blackberries, vanilla, hints ofautumn earth, and soft tannins. This is a good Mencia.
Clear dark red. On the nose blackberries and herbs. Cedar? Fresh taste, some mineral and distinct oak sweetness. Unknown grape!

The three reds made by Luna Beberide come from vineyards in a particular location, the paraje de Valdetruchas, in Villafranca del Bierzo. Bodegas y Viñedos Luna Beberide
Bodegas y Viñedos Luna Beberide started up in 1986, in Bierzo, under the guidance of Alejandro Luna, with the purpose of making and offering fine wines with all due respect for the land and the vines. As Alejandro maintains: "the prime material and the soil must be the mainstays of what later will be a great wine”; and thanks specifically to those slate and clay-calcareous soils, they obtain fruit-laden, mineral wines.
