Les Alcusses is Celler del Roure’s second wine and closely related to the highly-praised Maduresa; that may be so, but this wine has been quite capable of carving out its own path on its own merits, as it’s not lacking in qualities.

I very much enjoy the wines from Celler del Roure and this reasonably priced red is no exception to that rule. It's a blend of five different red grape varieties, but it remains nicely balanced and doesn't overwhelm the palate with over-complexity. Easy-drinking, with lots of fruity notes, it's great value for all-year-round enjoyment.by: Ramses (22/01/2019) - Vintage 2015
A good wine but it didn't do it for me. I found the grape blend to be to confusing and felt the notes needed more cellar time to develop. However, my partner really like it! And the other wines from this Celler del Roure provide outstanding value for money.
