La Maldita Tinto

Fruity, but a bit sweet.

This is a smooth, well-made wine, with lots of fruit and lots of initial impact (which makes it very easy to drink). But for me it's bit too sweet and lacking in subtlety. For others not bothered by such quibbles (and, in fairness, young wines are always going to be short on sophistication and depth) this wine will not let you down, with food or on its own.

Gamble paid off with this

Wow this is a great wine but it needs to breath for a few days if you can wait. This is new to me and I will be ordering more.
