The wine

Even though Ferrari was out of the top three, there was a bit of Ferrari on the podium at this year's Italian Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monza. It was none other than the limited collector's edition Trento Brut Ferrari bottled just this year to celebrate the Formula 1 circus.

Ferrari spumante is the Italian sparkling wine that for more than a century has been on the podium of the best bubblies in the world. A mountain chardonnay, taut but creamy, it is perhaps one of the few Italian classic method sparkling wines that can truly compete with champagne.

Matured on the lees for 38 months, the Ferrari Brut, now in this captivating and competitive guise, offers an intense and fruity nose, with notes of bread crust and hazelnut. The taste is satisfying, fresh, fine and persistent, with pungent citrus, savoury and mineral sensations.

He then imported many northern European to Trentino, but above all, encouraged by the investments of the then Austro-Hungarian Empire, to which...
