Austum Tinto

Austum Tinto 2022 is an organic red wine from Ribera del Duero, produced by Bodegas Tionio. This single varietal Tinta Fina (Tempranillo) comes from vineyards located at an altitude of 850 metres above sea level, planted in sandy and gravelly soils with layers of limestone and marl. The grapes are harvested and selected by hand. After a cold maceration at 6-8ºC for five days to enhance the varietal aromas, the wine is aged for six months in new French and American oak barrels. In the glass, it has a bright cherry colour with violet reflections.

On the nose, it offers intense aromas of red fruits and floral notes. On the palate, it is fresh and lively, with a balanced structure and silky tannins, reflecting its brief ageing in wood.
