The wine

A wine that has plenty of maturity and Mediterranean character on the nose, and freshness on the palate, with a creaminess and fullness acquired due to contact with its lees over ten months. It has been partially aged in barrel.

This is a new project from Bodegas Abadal, and the product of selected grapes grown in the best Picapoll vineyards. The aim has been to show the maximum expression of this indigenous variety, to reveal its true nature, the land and climate of the Bages region.

The result is a wine of great complexity and structure, and with that silkiness so characteristic of this variety.

The Bages region is...
