Every day wine
This is a good "every day" wine. Will work with most dishes. For me its best with red meat or when you just hit that point in the day when you feel like sipping a nice glass of red. Not quite as good as the Ramón Bilbbao Reserva not the less it hits the spot. It has a lovely nose with hints of plums, dates and cherry.
I have tried several Ramon Bilbao wines and I think this is one of the best rioja producers. great aroma when you pull the cork and lovely typical rioja flavour.
