This an absolutely lovely white. There used to be a time when barrel fermented whites meant thick, unctuous, buttery Chardonnays. This wihite has beautiful, light nectarine fruit, good acidity and just the right touch of barrique that rounds off a very balanced whole. It's seriously difficult to find a high class white for under €10.00. This has it in spades.

A good example of a white Rioja. Excellent on its own and appropriate for most foods. Found it in Menorca a few months ago.
