The wine

A lively and delicate rosé that's very pleasant and long-lasting, obtained from the blending of Garnacha (60%), Viura (30%) and Tempranillo (10%) from Muga's coolest estates. Produced by means of a 12-hour maceration and fermented in 2,000-litre oak tanks, in which the wine rests for two months before being bottled.

A pale pink rosé, the typical Provençal salmon-pink colour, with elegant aromas of red fruit berries, ripe citrus fruits and red flower petals, with an underlay of toasted bread and fresh herbs. The palate boasts a very good balance between the acidity and the fruit and the creaminess of the lees. A fresh finish, faintly spicy and luscious.

Wine critics reviewsReviews by Parker

The pink 2021 Rosado was produced mostly with Garnacha and some Viura that fermented in small oak vats and was kept with the lees that were worked for 16 weeks. It's pale, subtle and fresh in this approachable and cool vintage. It's floral, elegant and precise, with a faint bitter twist in the finish. 2021 is a very good vintage for whites and rosés. 301,200 bottles produced. It was bottled at different times from one single master blend. I tasted a bottle that had been filled in February 2022.
