Review

Perhaps the most representative winery of the Colli Orientali del Friuli and of the magical area of Rosazzo, that of Livio Felluga, the unforgettable star of Italian wine, has always combined the search for excellence and a very close relationship with the territory. This is demonstrated by the wines of the highest range, from the great Terre Alte to the fantastic Picolit, but also the freshest and easily-drinkable products, which are full of class and unparalleled style.

Sharis, from Chardonnay and Ribolla aged in steel only, for about six months, on yeasts, it is a prime example. The elegance and structure, even aromatic, of the Chardonnay, come together in splendid harmony with the fresh vivacity of the Ribolla, almost as if it were sanctioning the perfect union between tradition and innovation.

A white with great personality, of a pale canary yellow colour with slightly golden reflections. It reveals a fruity, fresh scent, with notes of pineapple, cedar, peach, white flowers and hints of spices. On the palate it is lively and fresh, with a long, persistent aftertaste, with clear citrus and spicy notes. Excellent as an aperitif, it goes perfectly with asparagus, vegetable soups, legume purée and marinated fish.

Food pairing

Pesce bianco / Minestre in brodo / Passata di ceci con calamari arrosto / Risotto con gli asparagi

Lovely and lovely

This delicious wine always reminds me of many happy visits to Verona where we would always choose this wine to celebrate our arrival in Italy

A firm favourite from a legendary producer

This Chardonnay/Ribolla Giala blend is one of my absolute favourites. Flinty dry, with a floral edge, it’s a great aperitif and more. Highly recommended from Italvinus whose service, pricing and reliability are all first rate.

Great white wine

A great wine, an intense nose, floral and depth. An amazing wine maker! A great price-quality relation which will not let anyone down. 18.5/20

An exciting wine from a great producer

I've become a big fan of this very affordably priced wine from world class producer Livio Felluga. Blending Chardonnay with the locally specialist Ribolla Gialla makes for a fragrantly exciting wine that is now a firm favourite. Bags of fruit and a long, floral finish, I really love it!

Un vent italien entier parfumé

Joli vin Bouquet bien entier avec la petite pointe d’acidité parfumée mais discrète qui fait le charme de ce vin
