Leone de Castris Salice Salent. 50° Vendemmia

This wine is a label celebrating the 50 years of the Salice Salentino grape harvest. At sight it has a ruby red color tending to garnet. Fruity notes of blackberry, black cherry and sweet spices make up a pleasant aromatic bouquet; the sip is intense and enveloping in the mouth, balanced by a good freshness and an elegant tannin. Ideal paired with meat dishes, such as pasta with meat sauce, game and roast. Also excellent with mushroom risotto and hard cheeses.
