Details for La Rioja Alta Gran Reserva 904 2011
Bottle size and vintage
In 1904, Don Alfredo Ardanza, one of the founders of the initial enterprise and owner of Bodegas Ardanza, proposed the union of both companies. To celebrate this, a very special wine was launched onto the market which was called Reserva 1904 then, but it would become the precursor of the current Gran Reserva 904, probably the winery's best.
A wine with an excellent quality-price ratio, a Tempranillo and Graciano coupage, with four years of ageing in American oak. A wine of great balance, very seductive, another great classic only produced in the best vintage years.
- Vine age:60 years
- Climate:Continental with atlantic influence
- Ageing period:48 months
- Barrel age:Mostly new
- Type of wood:American oak
- Optimum serving temperature:Between 17ºC and 18ºC
