La Maldita Revolution is made with Grenache Noir grapes from the hillsides around Tudelilla, a small village well-known for the quality of this variety. The vines were planted in 2000 in six hectares of poor stone-covered sandy soil, where only the under-rated Grenache seems able to survive, producing low yields of this cherished grape. Sited at an altitude of 725 metres, the conditions are ideal for the fruit to ripen slowly and maintain its freshness.
The vines are grown using organic agricultural methods although the wine does not bear the official organic certificate. The gently-crushed grapes undergo a cold maceration process for 12 days with light pump-overs and a malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels. The resulting wine ages in 500-litre used French oak barrels for 12 months, creating a perfect integration of the barrels' aromas.
La Maldita Revolution is a fresh, fine, elegant and aromatic wine. It displays an attractive cherry-red colour with violet glints, and soothing herbal and spicy notes appear quickly in the nose before blending in with aromas of perfectly ripened fruit and flowers. It has a medium-bodied palate with a notable strength and a wonderfully balanced acidity. A wine whose pure flavours and exceptionally fine tannins make it a pleasure to drink and leave you with a long lingering aftertaste. Mineral hints, reminiscent of chalk and the dusty vineyard stones are present throughout the experience.

Great value wine
First time I have bought any bottles of this wine and I'm very pleased I did. It is smooth, silky and full of flavour. I will be placing another order!
This wine has 'caught' me out twice, which is why it is important to keep one own wine itinerary. captivating descriptions singing its praises bare no relation to the sharp thin tannic taste that the mouth recoils from. never to be repeated.

Desequilibrio
