Wine critics reviewsReviews by Parker

The 2018 Telescópico Garnacha Tinta · Garnacha Peluda · Mazuela is now a different blend, adding Mazuela (Cariñena) from Épila, and comes from a more complete and cooler year that also saw more rain, a slower maturation, proper ripening of the grapes and balanced and healthy grapes. Fermentation and élevage were similar to the 2017 I tasted next to it, with indigenous yeasts and 25% full clusters in 500- and 2,500-liter oak vessels for 13 months. There is more power here, and the input from the Cariñena gives it depth and complexity, a different profile from the more aromatic and lighter 2017. 21,700 bottles produced.

Miraculously his head was found upstream on the bank of the River Jalon, close to where the Bodegas Frontonio winery is located. Exactly as they're presented, they're the wine of a particular land, the résumé of a landscape. A passion...
