The wine

A powerful and expressive wine from the region of Montsant and the winery's senior sibling, made using fruit from old vineyards, planted between 1930 and 1940, and providing low yields.

Braó is a powerful, concentrated wine that will offer its best to those prepared to keep it for a time longer in bottle.

(Braó 2005 obtained 94 points from Robert Parker and the 2006 vintage was awarded 92 points.)

A dark cherry colour, the wine exhibits ripe dark fruit aromas on the nose, with spicy and mineral touches and hints of undergrowth. Flavoursome, fruity and structured on the palate, with ripe tannins, it displays fruit and balsamic notes and concludes with a long, persistent finish.

NOTE: Some aeration is recommended before serving.

Aged for 12 months in new and one-fill French oak barrels.

Acústic Celler

Acústic Celler

Acústic Celler is the personal project of Albert Jané (of Jané Ventura, Penedès) in the Montsant appellation, with a very specific philosophy: advocating a return to traditional vine-growing methods, by avoiding an excessive use of technology and allowing the vineyards full expression of their particular character in the most natural way possible.
