Surprisingly long finish
Nice Verdejo. Golden, smells mango, vanilla, apple jam, dried pears. A bit bitter, medium fresh, full bodied. Long, complex, but lacks eleganceby: D Yarrow (08/04/2019) - Vintage 2016
Lovely oak aged white.
A nice oak aged white with good depth and structure. A clean Verdejo that is nice to drink on it’s own or with food.by: Gareth C (21/05/2018) - Vintage 2015
Great structure with balanced acidity and clean palate.
Enjoyed this more than I expected. Lovely apple and lemony palate with a good acid backbone and long finish from the barrel ageing. Really nice.by: Nabokov (25/01/2017) - Vintage 2014
Overpowered by oak
This started well, with a powerful aroma of overripe peaches and even mango mixed with the typical verdejo herby touch but, sadly, on the palate it was overpowered by the oak. I gave it some time in the glass, decanted, let it warm a little, put it back in the fridge... but it didn't change. I just wished the winemakers could give more room to the grape and the terroir and less to the oak.by: Mariana (06/04/2017) - Vintage 2014
