The paradox of Argentine wine: global crisis, Vinissimus success
Over the past few months, Argentina has made headlines for news that surprises those of us who follow the international wine scene: its exports fell 7.2% in 2025, reaching the lowest level since 2009, with just 1.9 million hectoliters exported worldwide. Less volume, fewer sales, and a complex international context have put many wineries against the ropes, especially small producers. And yet, at Vinissimus we observe exactly the opposite: every day we sell more Argentine wine. How do you explain this apparent contradiction?
