The wine
Tricó Claudia is an exceptional and distinguished white wine crafted in the prestigious Rías Baixas region of Galicia, Spain. This wine bears the name Claudia, paying homage to the essence and purity of the land from which it originates. Crafted with meticulous care, Tricó Claudia is the result of a selection of the best Albariño grapes, harvested by hand from vineyards located on granitic soils, giving it unique characteristics and an unmistakable identity.
The 2019 vintage of Tricó Claudia is characterised by its pale yellow colour with greenish glints, clean and very luminous. On the nose, it displays an intensely fragrant and complex aromatic range, dominated by notes of ripe white fruits, such as melon and pear, together with subtle floral nuances and a mineral background reminiscent of the Atlantic breeze. This aromatic complexity invites to a tasting that promises to be unforgettable.
On the palate, Tricó Claudia 2019 reveals a vibrant, well-integrated acidity that balances perfectly with its structure and medium body. The palette of flavours is rich and nuanced, reflecting the fruity and floral notes perceived on the nose, complemented by a silky texture and a long, refreshing finish. This wine has great depth and elegance, the result of careful winemaking and ageing on its lees in stainless steel tanks, which gives it complexity and roundness.
Tricó Claudia 2019 is a wine that invites to be enjoyed on special occasions, ideal to accompany delicate seafood dishes, white fish, or simply to be enjoyed on its own, allowing its complexities to unfold and be fully appreciated. Its unique character and authentic expression of the Albariño variety make Tricó Claudia an exceptional choice for connoisseurs and wine lovers seeking memorable and distinctive wine experiences.

overrated
a few years of age led this wine to have a nice body, but in terms of flavour it's not of my liking. I couldn't pick any note of fruityness nor any other flavour that was worth the "wow" (and the money).
Excepcional
Estupendo vino de notas florales, persistente y de acidez equibrada
