Review

A fragrant white and floral Albariño, very open and elegant on the nose, and with plenty of fresh, juicy fruit on the palate: melon, peach..., a tropical touch of fresh pineapple too, and a subtle undertone of rose perfume. A refined bouquet of flowers served in a glass.

Pure fruit

Textbook unoaked Albarino from (arguably) the best producer in the region. Well balanced with good purity of orchard and tropical fruit and decent length. Improves after 12-24 months in the cellar.

Good Albarino

I have recently bought and drunk some wines from Rias Baixas, some I found a little too sharp and unrefined, however this was by far the best, with ripe peach and softer balanced after taste.

A top Albarino

Dry citrus flavour. Very smooth and elegant, plenty of finesse with a hint of minerality. Have drank Alvarinho from this vineyard over the years and it never disappoints.

A wine for Atlantic fish

Delightfully crisp and citrusy, a good example of the fresh and aromatic Alvarniho grape. Good with Atlantic fish and excellent with grilled sardines.

Albarino at its best

Flavours of peach & pear with a dry citrus finish, this wine is just as good as an aperitif as it is as an accompaniment to seafood.
