Tenute San Sisto Verdicchio Sup. Massaccio

It is the richest and most concentrated interpretation of Verdicchio. In its vineyards, located in the highest areas and facing south, it is possible to over-ripen the grapes for a few days. This allows for a richer and softer wine.

Intense golden yellow. Thanks to the precious intervention of noble rot, Massaccio recalls ripe fruit, in particular the golden apple and pear with notes of honey, dried fruit, anise and Mediterranean herbs. In the mouth it is soft, fresh, with well-balanced notes of bitter almond, typical of the grape. Finally, in the long refinements in the bottle, the wine is expressed with pleasant and intriguing notes of hydrocarbons.
