Details for Château Lafite-Rothschild 2017
Review
Extremely dark in colour, it comes over slightly closed on the nose, with an elegant perfume of black tea, black fruit and yeast. It shows vigour and breadth on the palate, with tannins from the fruit and the oak which endow it with great persistence. It has a good weight, plenty of length and a definite hint of gooseberries to finish. Excellent and long-term cellaring.
Aged in French oak barrels.
