Cavalieri Verdicchio di Matelica Gegè

Verdicchio di Matelica DOC Gegè is obtained from the vinification of our Verdicchio grapes coming exclusively from a historic vineyard planted in 1962 in a clay-limestone soil, facing south-west. Following a careful manual selection, the bunches are collected in boxes starting from the first ten days of October. The draining must ferments in concrete tanks, after which it is decanted into steel tanks located in the underground cellar where it refines on its lees for 15 to 18 months. The wine, after a light filtration, is bottled without undergoing any clarification or stabilization.
