The wine
Montepulciano Amaranta is produced by Tenuta Ulisse, this wine is the confirmation of the exceptional nature of a terroir like that of the Crecchio area. It has a very intense and elegant ruby red color. The nose is broad and complex, fruity with hints of plums, cherry jam and notes of tobacco with a spicy tail. In the mouth it is balanced, complex with the tannic structure well blended with the alcoholic component. Full-bodied and with an excellent balance between alcoholic strength and tannin. Ideal with succulent first courses in red sauce, roasts and various semi-mature cheeses.
