Review

Barón de Ley 3 Viñas Blanco Reserva is an excellent combination of the three classic La Rioja white grapes: Viura (or Macabeo), Malvasía and Grenache Blanc. After the production process they are aged together in Americanoak to create a wine of aromatic herbs and honey, quince fruit and nuts, embellished with a fine minerality and subtle salinity.

Full bodied with a complex palette

70 % Viura, 15 % Malvasia, 15 % Garnacha Blanca. Lots of hazelnut on the nose. Full bodied with a complex palette.

The Barón de Ley winery is located in an old monastery in Mendavia (Navarre), within the DOCa Rioja appellation. Founded in 1985 and based on the model of the châteaux in the Médoc region, the cellar has deservedly gained a reputation as a specialist in producing wines for ageing with their excellent Reservas and Gran Reservas.
