The wine
Arbayún is the new range of wines from Fernando Chivite, one of the most respected winemakers in Spain and a reference for wines from the Navarre region. The limited-production Arbayún Rosado is produced from a selection of grapes grown in low-yield old Grenache vineyardson the slopes of the Baja Montaña hills in Navarre. A rosé wine offering us the most delicate character of this grape variety, with a concentration, complexity, and length rare to find in this kind of wine. It is a slightly mineral wine with pleasantly bitter notes which emphasize its complexity.

Baja Montaña Viñedos y Bodegas
Fernando Chivite, one of Spain's most respected winemakers, starts off his new project with two wines under the name of Arbayún, from the Baja Montaña region in the Navarra denomination, at the foot of the Pyrenees, between the Foz de Lumbier and Arbayún gorges: a refined, subtle and citrusy single varietal Chardonnay, and a rosé Garnacha, a traditional Navarra rosé, with very delicate aromas and confirming Fernando's personal touch.
