Akutain Cosecha

They look for more fruit and less alcohol and acidity in the young unoaked red 2019 Cosecha, making it more drinkable when young. They use Tempranillo fruit from their youngest vineyard, planted in 1990, and picked the grapes to achieve 12.5% alcohol and a pH of 3.81, so the wine is soft, velvety and juicy, bottled unoaked after resting in tank. It's approachable, round, balanced, easy, ripe, clean and healthy. 6,000 bottles were filled in June 2020.
