A classic Cava of the Brut Nature type: extremely pleasant, fresh, delicate, with hints of apple and toasted almonds.
Great Value House Cava
You would be hard pressed to find a better priced, all around good quality house fizz than this. So if you are throwing a party or a barbeque, you need look no further, as the price to quality ratio is really excellent - which is why I added a fourth star. It's really very crisp and quite dry, which is the point. If you like your Cava a little fruitier, simply add a few drops of cassis or mure. Bingo.
Worth a go
The current obsession with Prosecco, ignores the fact that there are some excellent Cavas at very good prices. This is a moreish, easy-drinker good enough to aid a celebration or just to enjoy some sparkles when you feel like it.
The Clasico is the most sure value among the Cava. Perfectly balanced, straight and fresh. Ideally light. And great value quality/price.
Again, the Codorniu brand always delivers, every time. Enjoyed with shellfish, light on the tongue.
One of my fav's
Love this Cava, one of the best I've had. So much so, I get it shipped over to the UK.
