The wine
Pure Primitivo grape wine, harvested early in small boxes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks after which it ages for 6 months in American oak barriques, in order to enhance the tannins and the structure. Further refinement in the bottle follows. At the sight it has a ruby red color with purple reflections, expresses a bouquet of marasca cherry and jam in the nose, with echoes of leather, vanilla and tobacco. Soft, velvety and full-bodied sip, with great persuasion and persistence. It is perfect in the company of first courses and grilled red meats. Try it with cold cuts and aged cheeses.
