The wine
Viglione Barbera d 'Alba is an intense and generous wine, with a bright ruby color. The nose reveals a distinctive bouquet that evokes notes of black cherry, sour cherry, rose, violet and licorice. The olfactory profile, multifaceted and inviting, introduces a pulpy, crunchy taste, characterized by good acidity and remarkable balance. It closes with a finish of excellent persistence, still on the fruit. For the whole meal, it is ideal to accompany hors d'oeuvres of medium-aged cheeses. Also excellent on first courses, risottos and particularly rich pastas.
