Nice wine for easy drinking

I tasted a 2013 version of this wine in a London restaurant recently so ordered 12 bottles but only the 2014 viersion was available. The 2014 isn't as smooth or rich as its 2013 cousin but it still represents good value for money.

Pleased to find that this wine is just as delicious The weird thing is, though, that the wine needs some hours open to show at its best. The first evening it was OK, but unrecognisable from the joyful wine I knew in its previous incarnation. But lo and behold! The next evening it was drop-dead gorgeous, even better than I remembered it, and of course a fabulous bargain at the price. It's hard to understand why the winemaker chose to make the wine in this way, especially for a wine sold at this price. But I'm thoroughly happy with this. Just make sure you leave most of it for the next day!

Good, earthy monastrell

This wine has always been the workhorse of the natural wine world. Great value for the price. A dry and earthy monastrell, the fruit is quite dark and fleshy and balanced by a surprising tannic grip for this grape. Avoids all the possible sickly pitfalls that take down so many other wines in this price range.

Vin ellegant

Le Tragolargo 2016 est un vin tout en puissance mais d'une élégance exquise. Nous l'avons sorti a plusieurs occasions, BBQ pour ses tanins, raclette pour la tenue en bouche mais aussi pour la fraîcheur qu'il apporte.... Très belle référence pour le prix!

Nice wine

I like the quality and price ratio for this wine. Perhaps a little atypical for Alacante (not being Monastrel grape), but still a nice wine
