Tommasi's Amarone Classico is one of the most traditional wines; has conquered the palates of the whole world thanks to its pleasant softness and the richness that it is able to release when tasted. At sight it has an intense ruby red color with reflections that tend to purple; notes of ripe cherry and plum intertwine with tertiary hints of humus, graphite and chocolate; going to compose a decidedly intense and very fine aromatic bouquet. The taste appears complex, velvety and full-bodied in the mouth, with hints of raisin. It goes perfectly with red meats, game and mature cheeses.
Drinking and storing
A real Christmas cracker.
The Tommasi is everything i had hoped it would be. I tried it with cured hams, crusty french bed olive oil and herbs and even with a 'steak'. Although a very full on taste it really accentuated the taste of all the foods i tried it with. Other lesser amarones would have been too hard and fullon to allow this to occur. A real winner for me.by: stefanzo (26/11/2019) - Vintage 2015
This Amarone started my love of Amarones!
Great wine. Lovely deep tones. Very reasonable for the price considering the low yield of Amarone wines. I personally prefer the intensity of L'Arco and Le Ragose Caloetto but I'd happily drink this wine any dayby: fraser thomson (14/06/2018) - Vintage 2013

Very powerful and noble wine. Could be savoured with nibblings though we had it with red meat. Needs to be decanted.by: Wino (7 May) - Vintage 2016
Usually good, maybe this year 2016 not as good as the 2015
