The wine

Lesser-known Galicia expresses itself here through its historic grape varieties. An Atlantic red wine, fresh and full of personality, that champions the immense winegrowing heritage of the Val do Miño.

At Adega Terras Mancas, the focus is on the vineyard and the territory. This red is made from a careful selection of native Galician varieties such as Brancellao, Mencía, Caíño Longo, Caíño Tinto and Sousón, complemented by small amounts of Garnacha Tintorera. The grapes come entirely from estate-owned vineyards planted on granite soils, a feature that helps define its fresh, elegant and distinctly Atlantic profile.

The harvest is carried out by hand, with the bunches selected into 15 kg boxes to preserve the full quality of the grapes. After whole-bunch maceration, the wine ferments in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks and remains in contact with its lees for at least six months before bottling, gaining complexity, volume and depth.
