A pleasant surprise.
As someone who is unfamiliar with either Sardinian or 'Cannonau wine' (and who was unaware that Cannonau is an alias of Grenache noir) this wine was a very pleasant surprise, after about an hour in the decanter it developed a light and bright 'glugable' style, with notes of currents and soft red fruits to the fore, and well balanced and 'rustic' tannin coming through in the finish, overall I would describe this wine as excellent value for money, however one should be aware that the 'light bodied' style will not be to everybody's taste.by: Asy (27/06/2017) - Vintage 2012

Dusty, light and not my style
I probably made a mistake ordering this. I prefer a full muscular style and this is light, dusty and, to my taste, insipid.
