Review

Dimonios is a Cannonau Riserva dedicated to the Sassari Brigade, the "Dimonios", demons by virtue of the value shown on the battlefields of the Great War. Dimonios comes from vineyards on red clays, capable of imparting finesse and minerality to wines. It has a full and intense ruby red color, tending to garnet. The nose offers sensations of ripe red fruit, undergrowth, sweet spices and toasted puffs. In the mouth it has a pleasant structure, it is soft and warm, but also savory, fresh and pleasantly tannic. It perfectly accompanies structured first courses, main courses of meat and medium-aged cheeses.

beaucoup de rondeur

une bouteille bien agréable à déguster. Beaucoup de rondeur, des arômes fruités une note en bouche longue et un nez qui donne envie d'y plonger les lèvres

A pleasant surprise.

As someone who is unfamiliar with either Sardinian or 'Cannonau wine' (and who was unaware that Cannonau is an alias of Grenache noir) this wine was a very pleasant surprise, after about an hour in the decanter it developed a light and bright 'glugable' style, with notes of currents and soft red fruits to the fore, and well balanced and 'rustic' tannin coming through in the finish, overall I would describe this wine as excellent value for money, however one should be aware that the 'light bodied' style will not be to everybody's taste.

Vin Sarde

Très bon vin Sarde découvert cet été en Sardaigne, belle surprise que je vous conseille de découvrir ! Passe très bien en apéritif ou sur un plat (viande, pâtes...).
