Nipozzano Riserva is an intriguing and involving wine, ruby red in color, with a good consistency. On the nose it opens with a strong fruity component of blackberry, blueberry and black cherry. Sweet notes of cotton candy and spicy cloves and nutmeg follow. The tannic texture is dense, but not scratchy. In the mouth it is warm and soft, with a beautiful persistence and with a remarkable taste-olfactory correspondence. Excellent in combination with grilled red meat, baked lamb and lightly aged pecorino cheese.

good smooth wine
A good Tuscan Chianti made with San Giovese grapes. It is Medium bodied, quite silky and smooth to the taste. Great wine for all foods.
Not very typical Chianti at all. Would not have guessed if tasted blind. Gets better when opened a few hours before. Pizza wine.
Easy drinking red
Seems to pair brilliantly with many different foods. Very good value and tastes a lot more expensive than it is
Great smooth wine
Very easy to drink, not too heavy but still with some body and subtle aromas that mix very well together.
As always a star - great depth - history in a bottle highly recommended
