Montevertine Pian del Ciampolo

Pian del Ciampolo is a red that fully reflects the Chianti terroir: decisive, captivating and refined. Clear and bright ruby in color, it initially expresses the fruity components of morello cherry and raspberry, then leather, notes of undergrowth, violet and graphite. On the palate it is firm and warm, with a return of the fruity sensations perceived by the nose; fresh and savory, with lively but well integrated tannins and a long finish of fruit candy. Perfect with typical Tuscan appetizers, with risotto with porcini mushrooms, sliced with rosemary and pigeon in the pan.
