The wine

The launch of their new Vinos de Pueblo range is the start of a new stage for Legaris. With this collection of wines, the winery, located in Curiel de Duero, goes even deeper into the complexity and diversity of the best Ribera del Duero terroirs.

Every bottle of Alcubilla contains the profile of the Tempranillo (Tinto Fino) variety from the province of Soria, less well known than that of other areas in Ribera del Duero. The small vineyard Legaris own in the village of Alcubilla de Avellaneda produces a splendid floral and delicate red wine, an authentic expression of the altitude (926 metres) the grapes grow at. Reddish clay soils with iron create a round and seductive wine with pleasant tannins.

As well as its traditional range of Roble, Crianza, and Reserva wines, in recent years the winery has explored the geographical wealth of the area working with both 'village wines' and their Páramos wine to demonstrate the qualities of high-altitude...
