The wine
Le Pupille Saffredi is an interesting dark ruby red wine, almost impenetrable. The scent highlights a rich bouquet of undergrowth, wild notes, fern and dog rose, with spicy and vegetable flavors that slowly emerge. On the palate it appears warm and refined, structured and intense, with a dense tannic texture of vital freshness and persistent finish. It is excellent on first and second courses of game or game.
