The wine

Monastrell 100% ecological of the Paso Malo payment. Cultivated at 800 meters altitude, on shallow limestone soil with boulder and gravel of alluvium with small proportion of silt. Alcoholic fermentation in open 500 liter barrels and subsequent aging 18 months in French oak.

It has an intense cherry color of high layer. It needs time to reveal all its aromatic nuances. At the beginning of the tasting it shows us its mineral character, with the aeration it evolves towards memories of monte bajo (rosemary) and ends with touches of tobacco and cigar box. In the mouth it is fresh and powerful, with good structure, broad but without presenting any aggressiveness. With a long and persistent finish, followed by sensations of minerality and terroir.

Their main objective was to make quality wines from their own grapes, grown organically right beside the winery. In 2004, the winery started out by establishing...
