The wine
Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba La Lepre di Fontanafredda is an intriguing and surprisingly fruity interpretation of the traditional dolcetto, favored in this even by its youth. It has a beautiful intense ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose is striking for the richness of aromas that recall wild berries: blackberry and raspberry but also cherry jam. In the mouth the balanced tannins make it an enveloping and pleasant wine. The acidity, in balance with the fruity sensations, gives a good persistence and a nice flavor. The ideal accompaniment for Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba are hot appetizers, first courses and second courses based on not too elaborate meat and vegetables.
