The wine
Produced in Italy only in the Breganze area, it is obtained from a wise choice and extreme care of the clusters of vespaiola grapes which, to dry, are twisted ("intorcolà") with strings in an airy environment. Only the best bunches, the loosest ones, are collected for drying. It is after Christmas that the sweet Torcolato is finally consecrated into wine. The production is limited both for the poor yield and for the typically artisan care that this wine requires. Fermentation takes place over a very long time, it can last a few months until it stops spontaneously leaving the wine still sweet. It rests in steel tanks for a few years before being bottled.
With a gold color, it has an intense aroma of cooked apple, honey, apricot, raisins, dates and dried fruit. On the palate it is broad, long and enveloping. The freshness conferred by the Vespaiola grape contrasts the sweetness of withering and makes this wine elegant and not cloying. Excellent also on its own, it goes well with blue or very tasty cheeses, and at the end of a meal it enhances small pastries and dry desserts.

Todella upea jälkiruokaviini
Makea, ei liian makea hunajainen, ehkä aprikoosinen jälkiruokaviini! Voin todellakin suositella tätä viiniä. Kaveriksi ei kaipaa muuta ruokaa tai kahvia
