The wine
Chianti Classico with a characteristic bright ruby red color. The nose expands a simple, fresh and fruity scent of undergrowth and wild spices. Medium-bodied, fruity, dry, fresh and pleasant taste, with light tannins. It goes perfectly with roasts, lilies of meat and cold cuts.

Fattoria dei Barbi is truly one of the great wineries of Montalcino, and also the company which has produced Brunello wine continuously for the longest time. Brunello is a single-variety Sangiovese wine first created by the Biondi-Santi family in the late 19th century.
